Leeds Festival of Science

Year group: Y5-13
Date: 4 - 31 March 2017

Every year the University welcomes over 3000 school pupils from the region to take part in a wide variety of fun-filled science and maths activities, ranging from workshops on slime to panning for gold. All the events are designed to inspire an interest in science, mathematics and engineering and to show that exploring the world around you can be an exciting and rewarding activity.

Ogden Trust Physicist of the Year Awards

The Ogden Trust Physicist of the Year Awards celebrates the most promising physics students in the Leeds and surrounding areas at crucial stages in their physics journey.  Students, nominated by their teachers, are recognised for being engaged in lessons, expanding their own understanding and empowering their peers to achieve success in the physics classroom.
